Connecticut Public Interest Law Journal - The Connecticut Public Interest Law Journal is a student-run, scholarly law review housed at the University of Connecticut School of Law in Hartford, Connecticut that edits and publishes works online written by professors, judges, practitioners, and students. Founded in 1999, its primary purpose is to further discussion of the legal aspects of public interest priorities relating to the many crucial political, economic, and social issues facing under-represented people.
Civil law (common law) - In the common law, civil law refers to the area of law governing relations between private individuals. It also is used to describe all law outside of the criminal law context.
